How much money does a millwright make?
Millwrights earn an average annual base salary of $72,422, according to the 2024 Construction Craft Salary Survey. That equates to $34.82/hour.
These numbers do not include overtime, per diem or other incentives that can increase earnings and benefits.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the highest 10% of industrial machinery mechanics, machinery maintenance workers and millwrights earned more than $84,950 annually.
